ACG helped her create her first flyer, set up a business email account, and provided the guidance she needed to get started. Gertrude embraced her passion for pastries and began catering for various events, distributing to local shops and salons.
Outcome: Two years later, Gertrude's pastry business is thriving, thanks to ACG's support and her own determination to succeed.
My name is Gertrude. A few years back, I was really struggling financially. I am married with three kids, but at the time, I only had two. I was working, but we were always struggling with just two paychecks and constantly borrowing money. I reached out to A Chosen Generation, and they encouraged me that I was really good with pastries and that I should consider doing that as a side hustle to make extra money.

Initially, I wasn't so confident, especially since I had no resources to start and didn't know how to advertise myself. However, ACG made my first flyer, created my business email account, and got me started. It's been two years now, and by the grace of God, I'm still in business, catering for parties, birthdays, and funerals, and distributing to shops and salons. I'm really grateful for their encouragement—they still do—and for availing themselves to be the instrument that turned my life around.
